Sylvia Beltran, Senior Project Coordinator
Ms. Beltran has over 10 years of experience in community relations and outreach for infrastructure projects in both the water utility and rail transportation industries. She is responsible for community relations, project management, event coordination and public information management. She has worked on large, regional transportation projects from the environmental process through construction completion as well as smaller infrastructure improvement projects for public works. Ms. Beltran serves as the deputy project manager for Los Angeles County Transportation Authority’s (Metro) I-5 Improvements in North County Project, coordinates the outreach for Orange County Transportation Authority’s OC Streetcar Project; oversees the technical advisory committees for Metro’s Rail to Rail/River Active Transportation Corridor Project and recently assisted in planning and executing the university and community outreach for the Azusa to Montclair segment of the Foothill Gold Line.
Ms. Beltran is adept at building strong relationships with clients and within communities. She currently serves as a board member for Valencia Heights Water Company.
