McKinley Street Grade Separation
The City of Corona recognized significant traffic congestion that residents face every day along McKinley Street and implemented a plan to improve safety and mobility.
The McKinley Street Grade Separation Project transformed travel by constructing a bridge over the BNSF railroad tracks and the Arlington Channel. The grade separation included street reconstruction, new road facilities, and a realignment and widening of SR-91 on and off ramps. This project provides a safer passage for vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians over passing trains.
